Tetiana Bilkovska, coordinator of anti-crisis programs at the Center for Support of Civic Initiatives "Chaika" (Seagull).

Many years ago Tetiana was a victim of domestic violence. She was a young mother of three small children and yet she had the courage to confront her abuser.

At that time Tetiana knew already, that she could be helping those who required support she had got. And since then her life has changed forever. For more than 22 years she has been working at the Center for Support of Civic Initiatives ‘Chaika’. During those years, Tetiana was personally coaching more than 600 people (women and men), let alone numerous trainings and individual meetings she conducted for high school and university students, social workers, law enforcement officials, representatives of NGOs.

Tetiana has always been guided by the belief that no woman/girl or man should be exposed to any form of violence. Anyone who suffers from any form of violence can contact organizations or hotlines providing help for victims of abuse and receive help from the experts.
